This video titled “Մենք կը խօսինք Հայերէն” (We speak Armenian) was prepared by AVC-AGBU Egypt, a community-based hybrid school, which was launched by AGBU Cairo and the Armenian Virtual College (AVC) in 2013. It became one of the first schools to adopt the AVC hybrid model. Since then, more than 65 people have benefited from the Armenian language and chess courses offered via the AVC hybrid program. 

After two years of interruption due to the pandemic, the partnership took on a new level in May 2022, with more than 50 new and returning students enrolled in the Armenian language and chess classes. The school operates smoothly under the direction of Mrs. Assia Gabrielian-Simonian, General Manager, and Mrs. Anna Dolabjian-Trayan, AVC Ambassador and Senior Advisor, with ambitious plans to expand.
 

This fruitful collaboration was made possible thanks to the commitment and ongoing effort of Mr. Berdj Terzian, Honorary President of AGBU Egypt, Mr. Onno Belekdanian, Vice Chairman of AGBU Cairo District and Chairman of AGBU Egypt, and especially, Dr. Viken Djizmedjian, Chairman of AGBU Cairo District and Vice President of AGBU Egypt as its direct and tireless leader.
